As we reach the mid-point of the six-month long hiatus, "The Walking Dead" throws us a bone and gives us a non-spoiler sneak peek!
During the Season 5 special of "The Talking Dead," executive producer Scott Gimple was one of the guests and he teased the first look at the fall installment. Featuring Carol (Melissa McBride), Tyreese (Chad Coleman) and baby Judith, the brief clip gave little away, in terms of a plot point but hinted at what could be coming for our beloved group.
One of the possibilities for the new season is a massive herd, as seen during last season’s “Isolation” episode. If fans recall, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Michonne (Danai Gurira), Tyreese and Bob (Lawrence Gilliard Jr.) go on a supply run (for medication to fight the epidemic) and get more than they bargained for. After hearing one of the bizarre Terminus radio signals, the group stumbles upon a herd so massive that there is no possible way they could survive. Ultimately, they fight their way through, but not before things go from bad to worse.
The elephant in the room here is…where did that herd go? Well, in the brand new Season 5 sneak peek, we get a little taste of the answer.
