The international nonprofit organization Aid to Children and Adolescents at Risk or ANAR along with ad agency Grey Group Spain recently created a Public Service Announcement to help abused children find help. The PSA (below) shows how the organizations used technology and some clever thinking to try and help children being abused find the courage to get help.

Unfortunately, some children are in the care of adults who abuse them, and it's very difficult for that child to find a way to safely seek help. Using lenticular printing, the billboard contains a "secret message" that is only visible from the viewpoint of a child. For anyone under 4 feet 3 inches (the average height of children under 10), they will see the "secret message."

For an adult standing over 5 feet 7 inches tall (the average height of an adult) the billboard reads, "Sometimes child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it." From the view of a child looking up at the billboard they will read, "If somebody hurts you, phone us and we'll help you," along with a phone number the child can call. The image of the young boy on the billboard will also be different for the adult and child. From the vantage point of an adult, the child is a normal looking boy. However, from the view of a child, they see a bruised and battered young boy.
