A volunteer firefighter was killed Sunday night battling a 4-alarm fire in Union Beach, NJ.

Although the name of the man was not officially released, the Belford Engine Fire Company put a tribute on their Facebook identifying the man as Robert "Hawk" Meyer.

Meyer sadly passed away from fighting a fire in a commercial building in Union Beach, and the cause of the fire is not yet determined.
