A United Airlines plane headed to Denver out of Newark had to make a pit stop on Sunday due to a fight between two passengers.
A man was using a device called a knee defender which is a device used to prevent the seat in front of a customer from reclining. The gadget has been banned from all airlines, but the man used it so he could be on his laptop on the flight anyways.
A flight attendant noticed he was using the banned device and asked him to take it off, but he refused. After hearing his refusal, the woman in the seat in front of him turned around and threw water in the man's face.
This incident prompted the plane land in Chicago and the two passengers were removed from the plane and not allowed to continue to Denver, but no arrests were made.
