An infant boy has died at 15 months old yesterday in Ridgefield, Connecticut after being left in a car unattended for an extended period of time.
It is not known how long the boy was in the car, but authorities discovered him at 6 p.m. Monday evening. Monday's peak temperature in Ridgefield was 88 degrees. The boy's cause of death has yet to be determined, but this is the fourth incident in just two weeks where children were left in unattended vehicles while in hot temperatures in the state of Connecticut.
