In a heroic, yet concerning incident, an Aramark worker boldly saved a girl who went unconscious and fell on to the subway tracks yesterday, reports PIX11.
The man claims the girl hit her head so hard on the tracks it "sounded like a gun shot," yet none of the other bystanders did anything to help save her.
Joshua Garcia says he immediately jumped on the tracks and hoisted the lifeless girl up to safety, only to find the other people on the platform with their cell phones out taking pictures and video of the near fatal situation.
Luckily there was a nursing student nearby who tended to the girl's gash in her head from the fall, and the girl was then taken to Bellevue Hospital where she received 50 stitches.
