(Ben Yakas) An unidentified man was struck by a train at Times Square this morning, an MTA spokesperson has confirmed. According to the FDNY, the incident happened around 9:45 a.m. at 42nd Street and 7th Avenue, where the victim was struck by and pinned under a 7 train. An FDNY spokesperson says they are still on scene, and the person's condition is unknown; the spokesperson added that he may have jumped, but that has not been confirmed yet.

There are no 7 trains running between Times Square and Queensboro Plaza for now. The MTA says the LIRR is crosshonoring fares at Penn Station and Woodside Station while the 7 train service is suspended. Check the MTA website for more updates.
