Jojo John, the man who was driving a speedboat when it crashed and killed a bride and the groom's best man, pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter in court.
Last year, John was driving a boat in the Hudson River when it hit a barge and sent a bride and best man flying off the boat killing them both.
John was under the influence of alcohol while he was operating the boat and had twice the legal limit of blood alcohol content in his system.
He was charged with 18 counts which could have resulted in 15 years in jail, but since he pleaded guilty, he will receive 2 years.
