Gavin DeGraw had a bit of a slip when he performed the National Anthem at Game 5 of the Nashville Predators NHL playoff game this weekend, and it had nothing to do with the song.
Just as he was finishing his rousing rendition of the Anthem Gavin took a step back and put his foot on the ice, causing him to face plant in front of the packed house.
He later shared video of the embarrassing incident on Instagram letting folks know he was uninjured. He shared, “I didn’t realize singing the national anthem was a full-contact sport.#ImOkay.”
