Well, it's no surprise here that many people will be packing it up early today in anticipation of the Labor Day weekend. I'm also not surprised that traffic is expected to be out of control.

According to NBC New York:

Drivemode determined that leaving on Thursday was not a surefire way to beat the Friday rush.

Oops. They continue...

The study also revealed that New York City has the worst traffic, with drivers taking 7.07 minutes to travel a single mile from noon to 1 p.m. on the Friday of Labor Day Weekend — the worst travel prognosis among the cities analyzed.

From NY's PIX 11:

Even with that said, I hope you have a nice relaxing weekend enjoying the last bits of Summer. Have fun wherever you're going, just leave a little extra time to get there. - Wendy
