"Time flies....even if turkeys don't."
At President Obama's second to last turkey pardoning, he made the dad joke to end all dad jokes. Just watch his daughters, Sasha and Malia, laugh and shake their heads at their dad's comic efforts.
The Anger Translator
Obama brought out actor and comedian Keegan-Michael Key at the White House Correspondents Dinner in 2015 to play his hilarious character Luther from his sketch comedy show Key & Peele. Luther just happens to be Jordan Peele's President Obama's anger translator. As the real POTUS addressed the many political pundits, media members, and celebs in the audience in a calm, cool, and collected manner, Luther told them what he was REALLY thinking.
He did the Mean Tweets segment on Kimmel...Twice!
There's something so entertaining about watching your favorite celebrities read mean tweets about themselves. The popular segment got even funnier when President Obama gave it a whirl. Then he came back for more.
Obama wasn't afraid to get silly (or make fun of himself!)
President Obama teamed up with Buzzfeed for a video titled "Things Everybody Does But Doesn't Talk About." He does everything from checking himself out in the mirror to doodling pictures of his crush in a notebook. I mean, come on, can he live?!?
He tried to name all the Game of Thrones characters
Our president teamed up with Buzzfeed once again for another viral video meant to inspire people to register to vote. Obama demonstrated 5 things that were harder than registering to vote. Yes, naming all the Game of Thrones characters is harder than that. There's a lot of them, okay?!
"Last week Prince George showed up to our meeting in his bathrobe...that was a slap in the face"
At this last White House Correspondents dinner, Obama joked about foreign leaders anticipating his departure from office and looking ahead to the next administration. Obama had recently met 3-year-old Prince George, and joked that meeting him in his bathrobe was a "total breach of protocol."
Not only does he joke like a dad, he tweets like one too...
His very first tweet speaks for itself.
He traded jabs with Zach Galifianakis on Between Two Ferns
Obama made an appearance on the hilarious Funny or Die talk show hosted by professional funnyman Zach Galifianakis. Obama was able to keep up with the comedian and hand out some of his owns disses, too.
He put his voice to good use
Slow jamming the news with Jimmy Fallon was definitely one of our favorite things President Obama did over the last 8 years. We loved having a president who was open to poking fun at himself and the world around him.
That mic drop tho....
Obama out.
