Eva Mendes Gives a Subtle Shoutout to Ryan Gosling's Golden Globes Speech

One of the highlights of the 2017 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday was Ryan Gosling's tender acceptance speech after he won the award for Best Actor in a Film, Comedy or Musical. He emotionally thanked his partner, Eva Mendes, for taking care of their daughter while pregnant so he could film La La Land. Mendes' brother was also suffering from cancer at this time, as well, eventually losing his battle with the disease.

Mendes gave a sweet, subtle shoutout to Gosling's speech on Instagram. She posted a picture of her fellow actress Janelle Monae to her account because it was her "favorite style moment" of the night. She made sure to preface that statement, though, by saying it "obviously wasn't her favorite moment of the night." While she didn't come right out and say that Gosling's speech was a special moment for her, we definitely know that it's exactly what she meant.

Mendes and Gosling are notoriously private about their personal lives, especially when it comes to their daughters Amada and Esmeralda. It was so nice to see this small moment of love shared between these two. They are serious #relationshipgoals!
