81-Year-Old Staten Island Man Clears Snow From His Neighbors Driveways For Free

John Laresca is an 81-year-old retired firefighter who is kind enough to clear all his neighbors' driveways whenever it snows.  He says he gets pleasure out of helping others.

"The payback is in doing good," he said. "Just doing good, and trying to share with other people. This whole world, the way it is today with all the problems it has in it, maybe it's a good thing for the people out there to start getting together and cutting out all this hate."

Laresca is so dedicated to the task that even hip replacement surgery just three weeks prior to the recent snowstorm could not stop him. Laresca said he cleared out up to 20 houses on the block.

A Brooklyn toddler brought his beloved lamb toy (Lamby) to the playground with him on February 8th. Unfortunately he lost his toy that day. He was devastated and determined to get his favorite toy back! His 6-year-old brother helped him make signs to hang around the neighborhood to help find the missing Lamby. A few days later they received a package from Amazon.com with a brand new LAMBY! The package including a note that said:  “Hi Elliot, we saw your poster in the neighborhood. Sorry you can’t find Lamby. Hopefully this guy can help :) From, your neighbors.”

TOO SWEET!!
