New Trailer for the Heath Ledger Documentary Will Make You Cry

The emotional first trailer for the documentary I Am Heath Ledger, premiering on Spike TV in May, shows fans of the late actor an intimate look at his life. The documentary contains footage from home movies of Ledger, as well as interviews with his sister, Kate Ledger, and Brokeback Mountain Director Ang Lee. The new trailer will surely make you cry, even if you're not familiar with the actors' work. 


The 90-minute film will also feature interviews with Naomi Watts, Djimon Hounsou, Emile Hirsch, Ben Harper and the Ledger family, according to USA Today. It will premiere during the  the Tribeca Film Festival on April 23 and will open in select theaters on May 3, as well as airing on Spike TV May 17 at 10 p.m. ET/PT. It's surely something fans of Ledger won't want to miss.
