Chris Christie Voted Most Unpopular Governor

A new poll shows New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s approval rating has fallen to 25 percent.

According to the new Morning Consult Governor Approval rankings, 71 percent disapprove of Christie’s job performance.  That makes him the most unpopular governor in the country.

The poll said that Christie has been dogged by the Bridgegate scandal, where two former aides were recently sentenced to prison time after they were convicted of closing lanes at the George Washington Bridge.

Christie takes the title of most unpopular governor from Kansas Governor Sam Brownback.  Two thirds of voters in Kansas disapprove of him.

The same poll found Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy is the third most unpopular governor in the country.  Sixty six percent disapprove of his job performance.
