New York City may be getting a new way to cross the street! You may of seen this in other cities around the world you've visited, it's called 'diagonal crossing' also known as the 'pedestrian scramble'. Basically it's when both lights at an intersection are red and people crossing can walk whichever way they want. It's meant to make pedestrians safer. We may be seeing this in Union Square soon!
