Saturday June 3rd was definitely a day we will never forget. KTUphoria 2017 presented by ATT was filled with surprise performers, balloons (via Miley Cyrus of course), and The Backstreet Boys. It's safe to say that everyone in the Northwell Health Jones Beach Theater was dancing around having the time of their life! Here are some of our favorite moments of our favorite concert of the summer.
Our first moment of the night was when Miley Cyrus met a fan through the Make-A-Wish-Foundation. A truly amazing moment, this Smiler's dream came true as she took a photo with our KTUphoria special guest performer, and got to hang out with her during the event!
Then when Miley took the stage, we couldn't help but be blown away by her performance of 'Jolene,' originally sung by her godmother: Dolly Parton. Seriously we can't get over those vocals!
And then we got soaked with water guns, so that was fun 😜
Our next favorite moment was when Shaggy surprised the audience by bringing OMI onto our KTUphoria stage! OMI sang his hit song 'Cheerleader,' and then performed his new song with Shaggy, 'Seasons.'
Then we got another SURPRISE, when Ty Dolla $ign joined Jason Derulo onstage to sing their new hit 'Swalla!' It sounded incredible and we definitely felt blessed to hear them sing it together.
But that wasn't the last of Ty Dolla, turns out he decided to join his girls Fifth Harmony onstage for his song with them: 'Work From Home.' We loved that they all came together for this special KTUphoria performance!
Last but not least, we have to give it up for our Backstreet Boys!! They definitely brought it all to our KTUphoria stage and we are forever grateful for this amazing performance. The lights, dance moves and everything in between was the best way to end an already incredible night!
Can't wait for next year!!!
