The Yankees Caught The Red Sox Cheating

The Boston Red Sox have been caught cheating by investigators for Major League Baseball, who say the team used an Apple Watch to help it steal signs.

The investigation began approximately two weeks ago, following a complaint by New York Yankees' general manager Brian Cashman, who also included video of the Red Sox dugout during a three-game series at Fenway Park in August.

The Yankees claimed the video captured a Boston training staffer eyeing his Apple Watch in the dugout and then passing on messages to the players.

The Red Sox were confronted by the commissioner's office and they admitted their trainers were getting signals from personnel working on video replays and that information got passed to some players.

Then Boston filed its own complaint, claiming the Yankees were using a camera from their YES TV network to steal signs.

For now, it's unclear what sort of penalties the Red Sox will face and whether Commissioner Rob Manfred will move forward with Boston's counter-complaint against the Yankees.
