It's my favorite time of year: where they release the annual NYC Taxi Drivers calendar. Some of this year's models will have you swooning, and some are posing in good fun. All that aside, a portion of the proceeds of this New York-centric calendar go to a good cause:
The New York City Taxi Drivers Calendar, a comedic take on the traditional pin-up, features some of the city’s best-humored yellow cab drivers. These drivers put a face to one of the most dedicated workforces, driving day and night to transport New Yorkers and our guests alike.
Thanks to your support, the calendar has raised over $60,000 for University Settlement, America’s oldest settlement house (1886), based in New York City’s Lower East Side and serving over 30,000 immigrant and working individuals and families every year with basic services like quality education, housing, recreation and wellness opportunities, and literacy programs.
