Ariana Grande's "7 Rings" Music Video Is A Lavish Pink Party Paradise

Nothing to see here ... just Ariana Grande continuing to serve those BOPS in 2019. Ari has officially released her highly anticipated friendship anthem "7 Rings" and its incredible pink-themed music video.

For her latest thank u, next offering, only did Ari sample the melody of "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music ... she also RAPS in this song. "7 Rings" is a friendship anthem with lyrics like "Wearing a ring but not cause I'm no Mrs./ Bought matching diamonds for 6 of my b*tches/ I'd rather spoil all my friends with my riches." And in the music video, Ari does just that.

In the "7 Rings" Music Video, Ariana throws a lavish pink-themed party for her and all of her friends, complete with pink lighting, a pink car, a lot of champagne, and of course, a lot of diamonds. And once again, her friends were there to live it up in the pink paradise.

Back in December, Ari spilled the tea about the meaning behind "7 Rings" after a fan on Twitter asked about the inspiration. Basically, the story is the pop star bought all of her friends matching diamond rings during a trip to Tiffany's in New York City, and after a lot of champagne. She said, "well ............. ‘twas a pretty rough day in nyc. my friends took me to tiffany’s. we had too much champagne. i bought us all rings. it was very insane and funny. & on the way back to the stu njomza was like ‘b*tch, this gotta be a song lol'. so we wrote it that afternoon."

The keepers of these 7 rings are Ariana herself, Victoria Monet, Alexa Luria, Courtney Chipolone, Tayla Parx, Njomza, and Kim "Kaydence" Krysiuk. Grande's mom Joan and one and only nonna also got rings after the song was completed.

Earlier this week on Twitter, Ari added that "7 Rings" is a natural progression from the vulnerable "thank u, next." She explained, "thank u, next is more vulnerable and gentle lol. seven rings is jus like ..... a flex. friendship anthem. how the homies WANT u to feel. what the 'thank u next' energy evolves into while embracing a new chapter (even tho both moods /energies are v present)."

Elsewhere on Twitter this week, Ariana also answered more fan questions about the thank u, next album. It looks like there are twelve songs on the LP, including "thank u, next," "imagine" and "7 Rings." But she also revealed that there was a song that was at one time included in the track listing that she replaced with a "fun one" because she's not quite ready to share with the world. She explained, "i added a fun one (lol) to replace one that i decided i don’t think wanna share w the world. so we back to twelve tracks. i appreciate u understanding in advance."

Ariana is facing a huge 2019 ahead as fans not only await the release of thank u, next, but also as she embarks on her "sweetener World Tour." Grande is also up for two Grammys this year for Best Pop Solo Performance for "God Is A Woman" and Best Pop Vocal Album for sweetener.

The 25-year-old is also up for several iHeartRadio Music Awards including Female Artist of the Year, Best Lyrics, Best Music Video and Songs That Left Us Shook (for "thank u, next"), and Best Cover Song (for "Natural Woman"). And Ari's pig, Piggy Smallz, is up for Cutest Musician's Pet. Fans can vote through March 7th via Twitter, using the appropriate category and nominee hashtags, or by visiting iHeartRadio.com/awards.
