Kim Kardashian debuted a fire new hair color on Instagram — and no, it's not a wig!
Taking to the platform on Monday (June 29), the beauty businesswoman showed off her newly-dyed brunette locks, which now appear a soft maroon red. Flaunting her look in her Instagram Stories, the 39-year-old wears an orange crop top with her tresses pulled up into a ponytail. “You guys, I dyed my hair red. Do you love it?” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star asked her millions of followers while laying in bed and playing around with the platform’s freckle filter.
In case you’re wondering, Kim’s longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton, is the man behind the reality star’s redhead transformation. “Red head 🍒 It’s NOT a wig before you start with that s—t,” Appleton wrote on Instagram along with a repost of Kim’s Instagram Stories.
In the case of Kim’s haircare, Appleton has been putting his dying skills to the test with a number of different looks for the KKW Beauty owner in recent months. Days before debuting her scarlet locks, Kim posed in some sultry shows wearing her natural brunette tresses. “I messed the last post up lol…so here it is again,” Appleton captioned a set of images showing Kim modeling one of her SKIMS bodysuits. “Love this messy bombshell texture on @kimkardashian.”
Back in late-May, Appleton turned Kim into a “Bleach blonde,” as seen in a selfie the reality star took of her wearing a black bra and with her bright, wavy hair falling to the sides of her face.
