In a candid and insightful interview with us here 103.5 KTU global pop sensation Dua Lipa sat down with interviewers Greg T and Judy Torres to discuss her journey as an artist, the new album 'Radical Optimism', and whether or not, she feels pressure to outdo herself every time she comes out with a new project.
Dua began by reflecting on her evolution over the past four years, noting how she has grown both personally and creatively since the pandemic hit and shut the world down. Of course, Greg had to ask her all about how her involvement in the 'Barbie' movie came to be, which she reveals all started with receiving a phone call.
She then went on to reveal that when it came to recording this new album she went off to a more rural and organic location because she believes that it adds a certain polish to the music. When asked about standout tracks from the upcoming album, Lipa teased which two songs that she for sure sees having fans in a chokehold
As for her plans while in New York City, Lipa couldn't hide her excitement about indulging in some authentic New York pizza, but kind of disappointed us all when she said she wouldn't be able to make time to go catch a Yankee game.
We love to see how Dua continues to captivate audiences worldwide with her talent and authenticity. Enjoy the interview.
