Where To 'March For Our Lives' On Long Island

Tomorrow students and families will take to the streets to demand that their lives and safety become a priority in the eyes of legislators. The main rally will take place at noon in Washington DC outside the White House, at Pennsylvania Avenue NW, between 3rd NW and 12th NW. More than 500 sister events are expected to take place in communities around the world.

Here is a list of locations where sister marches and rallies will take place on and near Long Island on March 24:

  • Port Washington @ 6:30 p.m. - The United Methodist Church of Port Washington
  • Glen Cove @ 11 a.m. - Robert Finley Middle School
  • Old Westbury @ 4:15 p.m. - SUNY College at Old Westbury
  • Farmingdale @ 11 a.m. - Farmingdale State College – Nold Gym
  • Huntington @ 11 a.m. - Heckscher Park
  • Port Jefferson @ 1 p.m. - Resistance Corner
  • Patchogue @ 1 p.m. - Rep. Zeldin’s office
  • Long Beach @ 2 p.m.- Kennedy Plaza – Long Beach
  • Cedarhurst @ 2:30 p.m. - Cedarhurst Park
