NYPD got an alarming call yesterday morning - a tiger was running wild in the streets of Manhattan. Officers and news reporters flocked to the area of 166th Street and St to catch a glimpse of the rumored feline but instead found only a raccoon. But things got worse. The panic escalated further when Citizen App sent out a notification warning residents of "unconfirmed reports of a loose tiger running around the street". NYPD ended up getting so many calls about the "tiger" that a spokesman began answering the phone by saying "It's not a tiger, it's a raccoon" How could someone confuse a raccoon for a tiger?
