Not a phone call to dump the guy, nor a text or Skype. Instead, she paid $100 to Mark McGrath to break the news. At the worst opportune time, just as the guy was finishing his thesis paper.
The video was a prank by a Twitter account with less than 100 followers and a goal of gaining millions more. Sad.
Also sad is that Mark McGrath has a side gig of recording $100 messages to strangers. Anthony Scaramucci (aka The Mooch) belongs to the same Cameo website. He’s for hire to wish your grandma a happy birthday. Lisa Vanderpump demands $350 per message.
