Demi Lovato shared with her Instagram followers the concept behind her back tattoo of a black-wing angel. She wrote “We created a combination of images that best symbolized my spiritual awakening: A fallen angel being lifted by three angelic doves (the Holy trinity) and the disintegration of her wings represents the darkness I am shedding.”
