Canadian Ice Carver Creates Magical Harry Potter Scene In Front Yard

posted by CMS -

Canadian ice carver Kelly Davies has built his own Harry Potter-inspired winter playground for his 6- and 8-year-old daughters in their front yard in Alberta Canada. He recreated a section of the series’ iconic Great Hall, complete with headmaster Albus Dumbledore’s seat at the high table.

Imagine waking up one morning to find your front yard magically transformed into a scene from Harry Potter. • Ice carver Kelly Davies built a segment of Hogwarts, the Great Hall dining room, in front of his house for his two daughters. Hogwarts is where Harry and his friends go to school in the series. • Anna, 8, got the boxed set of Harry Potter books last summer and read them all in under three weeks, said Davies. Julia, 6, is also a big fan. • He continues to work on large snow pillars, carving them to look like torches found in the halls of Hogwarts. • • • Video by @cbcedmonton | #harrypotter #hogwarts #edmonton #icecarving #icepalace
