Drake Surprises 63-Year-Old Hotel Maid with $10k Saks Fifth Avenue Shopping

Drake has been on a goodwill spree giving $25,000 to Miami Senior High School, cash to a homeless family and now his has taken a hotel worker on a $10,000 shopping spree.   Drake was moved by Odelie Paret’s story of her long commute for work at the Fontainebleau Hotel where she has worked for over 20 years. Paret wakes up at 4:30am to take two buses to the hotel and sometimes doesn’t make it back home until 7pm.  

Drake surprised the 63-year-old hotel maid with a spa treatment, steak dinner and a shopping spree that included a trip to Saks, where she bought a diamond necklace, $800 dollar shoes, a $2,000 Valentino handbag, and several bottles of perfume.   Drake worked with the city of Miami to identify donation opportunities within the city, which will all be documented for an upcoming video for his single, “God’s Plan”
