Citi Bike is helping New Yorkers to celebrate Earth Day by letting them use the Citi Bike service for free! All you have to do is download the Citi Bike app and you'll get a free day pass. The promotion is in conjunction the Department of Transportation, which is also making 30 blocks of Broadway completely car-free tomorrow!
Fun fact, last year more than 16.5 million trips were taken on Citi Bikes, which, according to the Department of Transportation, saved more than 23 million pounds of carbon from being released into the atmosphere!
