The seat belt ticket blitz lasts until June 3, a two-week stretch in which police officers will have zero-tolerance for people caught not buckling up, New Jersey state's department of law and public safety said in a statement.
Earlier this year, police department around New Jersey took part in a distracted driving campaign known as U Drive. U Text U Pay. Now the focus is on seat belts!
The National Click It or Ticket Campaign is now underway and runs through June 3, 2018. York-Poquoson Sheriff’s Deputies will be actively enforcing seat belt violations. It is important to remember that seat belts save lives every day. They can only save lives, however, if they’re used, and there are still many people in America who don’t buckle up. Wearing a seat belt can reduce the risk of a fatal injury by 45 percent. #CIOT #ClickItOrTicket #yorkcountyva #yorktownva #ypso #buckleup #savealife
