NY Jets player Darelle Revis might be facing jail time over an altercation in Pittsburg on February 12th. He's been charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault, one felony count each of robbery and conspiracy, and a misdemeanor count of terroristic threats.
Revis got into the altercation after a man began recording him on his cellphone at 2:43AM. Revis reportedly took the phone and attempted to delete the video. Another man, who appears to be the friend of the person recording the video, began arguing with Revis. The incident escalated and turned physical.
Revis attorey Blaine Jones, believes his client is the actual victim. "“It’s my understanding that when Darrelle turned around he wasn’t sure whether it was a weapon or a phone,” Jones told reporters. “He didn’t know. He just knows he left, these guys were saying his name, he turns around and sees an object and he wasn’t sure what it was or whether he was going to get robbed or assaulted or what."
Revis was apparently in Pittsburg visiting family when the altercation happened.
