Miley Cyrus is using her platform to help the Survivors from Parkland, Florida’s, Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School  to promote “Shine.” Its a song that Sawyer Garrity, and Andrea Pena, students  of Stoneman Douglas Highschool, wrote  about the terrible  shooting that happened on February 14th. This was the song that was performed along with their drama class at a CNN Town Hall meeting just one week after 17 people were killed at their school.

“Shine” is the official theme song for the March For Our Lives demonstration that will happen March 24th in Washington D.C. Proceeds from the download sales of “Shine” will go to the SHINE MSD Fund, which will support the victims and families of the shooting through mental health and arts programs.
