A California High School Goes Phone-Free!

School season is officially here and with everything that's going on in the country about gun control, the big question is should schools be phone free?

San Mateo High School in California has become the largest public school in the country to go Phone-Free.

The Yondr Pouch is the locking device they' ll be using every day at the beginning of school. The phone slides into it and gets locked through a magnetic device. It's not unlocked again until the final bell rings.  Some parents think it's a great idea so that kids focus on their work, but others are not happy. Parents want to know they will be able to reach their kids should anything occur.

Thoughts?
