Ryan Ferguson Checks In With Lulu Y Lala

Ryan Ferguson is one of two Columbia, MI natives who are part of the cast for the 33rd season of "The Amazing Race," alongside our very own Lulu Y Lala.

He called up to check-in with the twins before "The Amazing Race" big premiere and got into his new criminal justice system based podcast, the realities of prison life as compared to 'Orange Is The New Black' and his Netflix doc.

Ryan, who hosts the 'Prison Counts' podcast, spent nearly 10 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of a 2001 murder in his hometown of Columbia. At the time of the murder, he was a 17-year-old high-school student. His story was told on 48 Hours Mystery and the Netflix documentary Dream/Killer.

Ryan will compete alongside fellow Rock Bridge High School alum Dusty Harris, 38, who ives in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, where he is owner of the Harris House Bed and Breakfast

The new season of "The Amazing Race" will air on CBS and livestream on Paramount+ beginning with a special two-hour premiere at 7 p.m. January 5th.
