Scotland was such a beautiful county! It's a shame we didn't really get to enjoy it. We were focused on getting to the pitstop and making it onto the next leg of the race. Big ups to Lala! She really held it down. She drove a manual car for the first time and was pretty good at it. It was so confusing because in Scotland, you drive on the opposite side of the road and the steering wheel in on the opposite side of the car. The pressure was definitely on for Lala. As if that wasn't enough stress, she ended up being the one to assemble a bagpipe and play it. It took her some time but she got the job done. Singing and dancing is all we did growing up so when we had the option of doing so on the detour, we took it. Let's just say our dancing instructors would NOT be proud. After about 12 attempts, we finally got the clue to head to the pitstop and find Phil. FYI, we are constantly singing "Donald where's your trousers." LOL!
Getting to the pitstop we were ecstatic to find out that we had come in 7th place!! Finally, we weren't last and it was then where we realized, the best is yet to come!
