July 11th 2021 marked a day in history for Cubans all around the world: for the first time in 60 years, the Cuban people marched onto the streets of Cuba and protested for their freedom.
This all stemmed from a song called Patria Y Vida by Yotuel Romero, Beatriz Luengo, Maykel Osorbo, El Funky & Gente De Zona. "Patria y Vida" won two Latin Grammy's in 2021 for Song Of The Year and Best Urban Song. The song brought awareness of the painful realities Cuban people have been living everyday.
Because of this incredible movement, Yotuel and Bea decided to make a documentary showcasing the creation of the song and the impact it had and continues to have in the world.
