He "for sure hates" me, Diplo told the fashion outlet before noting that he believes Drake's one-sided feud stems from a now-deleted joke from his Twitter about Drake’s son joining BROCKHAMPTON. "I can't remember exactly what it was," he confessed. "But it was super funny."
While Diplo may have had a laugh at the joke, the cowboy DJ admitted that he doesn't even run his own Twitter account. In fact, one the Major Lazer writers, Cash, runs most of his socials, and it was Cash who sent out the joke that possibly offended Drake, not Diplo, which is why the DJ said he's ready to make amends.
"I'm always down for Drake," he shared, adding that they both have kids and both have residencies and Las Vegas. "Come back, dude! I miss us! I miss us!"
As fans know, Drake doesn't play around when it comes to his two-year-old son Adonis. The toddler has been a topic of discussion since Pusha T revealed that Drake was a father on his infamous track "The Story of Adidon" in May 2018.
While Drake and the mother of his child, Sophie Brussaux, are extremely protective of their child — they have yet to share a full picture of Adonis — Drake shared a rare glimpse at of the two-year-old last month, posting a cropped photo on Instagram Story of his little guy sporting “I ❤️ Daddy” socks. While the 33-year-old rapper cropped Adonis' face out of the photo, he did show off his baby boy's luxury brand outfit as Adonis' cute Burberry sweatsuit was also visible in the shot.
