DJ Jenny Costa has been pumping out feel good dance tracks since her early teens and has been a KTU resident DJ since the station's launch. She was originally part of the 'Saturday Night Dance Factory', 'The Midday Mix Show' along with the 'Ladies on the Turntables Show' every Friday night at midnight. Today, her mix shows are heard on 103.5 KTU, and nationwide on the iHeartRadio app by millions each day, Monday through Friday at noon on Wendy Wild's Midday Show, Thursday mornings mixing the TBT Mini-Mix on Cubby and Carolina’s In The Morning Show, and every Friday night at 10pm with Lulu and Lala.
She has worked at some of the hottest venues and nightclubs both in the U.S. and abroad with live appearances alongside some of the industry's biggest artists including: Cher, Chaka Kahn, Gloria Gaynor, Pitbull, Enrique Iglesias, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Judy Torres, George Lamond, Shannon and the legendary Nile Rogers . As a pioneer in the industry, Jenny has paved the way for many disc jockeys and continues to be an inspiration to others. Jenny has had countless mentions about her work in numerous publications such as Daily News and Newsday.
Jenny has received numerous awards and nominations throughout her career. Most recently Jenny and the KTU Mix Show team received an award for ‘Best Mix Show Team’ in a nationwide record industry contest hosted by Promo Only in July of 2017, in Atlantic City. Back in March of 2004, Jenny received the first ever NY Metro A.I.R. award for 'Best Mix Show DJ.' As a former Billboard reporter she has received platinum albums from Warner Brothers and MCA Records for helping to promote artists such as Madonna and Jody Watley.
