In an earlier blog post I briefly mentioned how Casey Affleck's Oscar win was met with controversy. Despite his phenomenal performance in 'Manchester by the Sea', Affleck's reputation has been tainted by sexual assault allegations stemming from 2010. They have since been settled out of court, but many are repulsed by his win despite his talent.
Actress Brie Larson was on stage last night to present the award and her reaction says it all:
