Oscar winner, Casey Affleck showed up to last night's award ceremony looking... well... scruffy. When asked about it on the red carpet, Affleck revealed that it was for a role, saying ' 'I know it's not a great look but I'm stuck with it for a few weeks.'
Still though...
It didn't take Twitter long to give their opinion:
Despite his tainted reputation over sexual assault allegations from 2010 which was settled out of court, Affleck received the award for his performance in 'Manchester by the Sea.' During his acceptance speech he made no mention of the controversy, however he did say:
“Man, I wish I had something bigger and more meaningful to say.”
