It's that time of year again kiddos. If you have a daughter or know of a friend or co-worker's daughter who's a Girl Scout, you're already aware that it's cookie season. The best/worst time of year, depending on how you look at it. For me - I have no self-control when it comes to cookies, so we'll file this under 'it's complicated.'
I actually already grabbed four boxes courtesy of one of our listeners... shout out to Kaylana who was really hustling! When her dad reached out via our request line and no one else had gotten to me yet, they sealed the sale! Two boxes of Tagalongs (my #1 cookie bae) and two boxes of Samoas (#2). The website makes it super easy to order these days, but again, you gotta have a connection. OR...
You can stock up by visiting this Girl Scout Cookie pop-up location in Midtown Manhattan! Hip-hop hooray!
Here are the deets:
According to the NYC Patch:
The organization's Cookie Executive Committee — an all-star team of the group's best cookie sellers — will be running the pop up shop Friday, Saturday and Sunday out of the Girl Scouts of the USA building on Fifth Avenue and West 38th Street.
All of the favorite Girl Scout Cookies flavors such as Thin Mints, Samoas and Girl Scout S'Mores will be sold at the pop up store.
The pop up store will be open on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., and 1-3 p.m. and on Sunday from 12-2 p.m., according to a press release. All proceeds from the store's sales will benefit Girl Scout groups within New York City.
Sweet! See you there? What's your favorite Girl Scout Cookie variety?
