The May issue of GQ is a doozy! It features one of my current faves, Cardi B in a very candid interview where she talks openly about her early days as a stripper before she was really making money move. The one part of the interview that had me gripping my armchair and biting my nails was hearing the Bronx native admit to getting illegal basement butt-filler injections in a Queens apartment. What???!! Listen - I'm all for Botox and fillers if it makes you happy - but from a non-qualified person injecting God-knows-what... that's terrifying. In fact, the same woman who did her procedure was later arrested after someone died on her table. Scary scary scary.

Cardi claimed her ass from the universe in a basement apartment in Queens, where, for $800, a woman injected her buttocks with filler. "They don't numb your ass with anything," she says. "It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days."
Just seeing that headline really makes my skin crawl. Thank God she walked away unscathed.

The Bronx-born Cardi did not reveal the identity of the woman who gave her the injections. Multiple people have died in New York in recent years due to unlicensed rear-end injections, including Kelly Mayhew, who received silicone injections in a Queens basement in 2015.
