There’s comfort at work…and then there’s comfort at work – and how comfortable you’re going to be depends largely on the dress code set by your employer. Well, in one Connecticut town, municipal employees are no longer allowed to wearing slide sandals or flip-flops to work.
According to officials in Greenwich, Connecticut - it wasn’t because someone was stinking up the joint, but “to create safer conditions and avoid accidents that can result in injuries, absences and workers' compensation claims.”
The good news? The rule doesn’t apply to lifeguards or camp staff. The bummer news? Tomorrow is National Flip Flop Day…
