G-Eazy is making a big push to play Elvis in an upcoming biopic. Director Baz Luhrmann was pitched by G-Eazy last month in New York and the rapper even reportedly took some meetings with Warner Bros.
G-Eazy is so focused on playing “The King” that he posted pictures looking VERY Elvis-esque on his Instagram page with the caption, "Don't be cruel, to a heart that's true."
What do you think?
Baz hasn’t given any indication as to who he wants to cast, but Ansel Elgort, Miles Teller, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Harry Styles and Austin Butler have all tested for the part.
Tom Hanks has already been cast as Elvis’ manager, Colonel Tom Parker.
