It's always a special day when North Shore Animal League America stops by the studios at 103.5 KTU. On this particular Tuesday, it was an early Thanksgiving treat for midday personality, Wendy Wild who was on-hand for all the pets and snuggles.
North Shore Animal League America is the world's largest no-kill rescue and adoption organization— and has saved the lives of over 1 million dogs, cats, puppies and kittens at risk of euthanasia. Through their many innovative programs, they reach across the country to rescue animals from overcrowded shelters, unwanted litters, puppy mills, natural disasters and other emergencies and find them responsible, loving homes.
The purpose of this visit -- to promote their Black Friday Adoption Special, extending through the weekend in an effort to find these adorable puppies and kittens their fur-ever homes.
