Super Bowl is this Sunday! Would you believe me if I told you that wings are NOT the most searched for food? 🤯
According to a report of Google searches from each state, the most searched food for Super Bowl Sunday is – Wieners. That’s right, cocktail wieners were the most searched food item in a whopping 11 states...including Colorado, Connecticut, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.
Dips were also quite popular, with seven states, including Illinois, South Carolina and Texas, searching for “seven layer dip,” and another six, including Florida, Hawaii and Nevada, searching “buffalo chicken dip.”
And while everyone will probably be eating wings on Sunday, not a lot of people are making them. In fact, only six states searched for wing recipes, with five searching for garlic Parmesan wings, and only one, Wyoming, searching for baked hot wings.
