A new study finds more than half of women admit to revealing personal and intimate information to their hairdresser. For example, one in 20 women say they’ve talked to their stylist about cheating on a husband, boyfriend or partner, while 15% have complained about work colleagues while getting their hair done.
And believe it or not, apparently a hairdresser’s advice can be life changing to some folks, with 15% of women saying they’ve made life-changing decisions after talking with their hairdresser, while 20% say they’ve changed jobs and another 20% say they’ve moved. What’s more 10% say they’ve actually come out of the closet thanks to encouragement from their hairdresser.
- Of course a person’s relationship with their hairdresser is very real. In fact, a third of women say their hairdresser is a genuine friend, with 10% saying their hairdresser knows more about them than some friends do.
