4 New COVID Testing Sites Open At NYC Subway Stations

Let's hope this helps alleviate the headache of trying to find a PCR test.

4 brand new COVID testing sites are coming soon:

Opening Tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 11:

Manhattan's 125th Street Station (A/B/C/D lines). Operating hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Bronx's Bedford Park Station (B/D lines). Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Opening Wednesday, Jan. 12:

Queens' Queens Plaza Station (E/M/R lines), open Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Brooklyn's Coney Island/Stilwell Station (D/F/N/Q lines), open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

I'm sure this news comes as a relief to many New Yorkers, because who wants to line up outside an overwhelmed urgent care at 6 am, only for them to run out of tests right after they open at 8?

Many jobs (my partner's included) require a negative PCR test to return to the office, so finding an appointment wasn't easy right after the holiday rush. Hope this provides better access to these much-needed tests, and that we start to see the other side of this wave. Stay healthy and safe everyone.
