Hopefully you've never been in a position where you've had to dry out a soggy iPhone and pray it still works... but according to the experts at Apple, you should NOT put your phone in uncooked rice.
Yikes, really?! How many of us have done this? Maybe you dropped your phone in the toilet (ew) or it went for a dip in the pool.
The folks over at Apple warned customers that by using the rice method, it can actually damage your device. Instead, they say to tap your iPhone against your hand with the connector facing down to let the liquid drip out, then leave it in a dry area. Have you ever used rice to dry out your phone?
